CAMA Land Use Plan
 

The Town of Atlantic Beach has completed a draft of its Coastal Area Management Act (CAMA) Land Use Plan (LUP).  CAMA requires local governments in coastal counties to adopt a land use plan that specifies how it will protect the coastal environment from the impacts of pollution and development.  The Town of Atlantic Beach has chosen to expand on the basic principles of the CAMA Land Use Plan and develop a comprehensive plan that looks at growth and development throughout the entire town.

This plan is now being reviewed by the many State and Federal agencies that have influence and/or authority over elements of the Town's land uses.  Concurrently the Town Council, staff and citizens have the opportunity to review this document.  The draft Land Use plan is attached below:
