The mission of the Atlantic Beach Police Department is to join in a partnership with our residents, merchants and visitors to provide a constant, safe environment through citizen and police interaction. Having community service as our foundation in solving neighborhood problems, our goals include, increased prevention of crime, better protection of life and property and greater insurance of safe living conditions of all citizens.

We strive to provide a proactive program of problem solving techniques toward reducing residents fear of crime and victimization. We seek cost effective ways to systematically solve our present and future challenges. With the development of Community Oriented Policing, we seek public trust by maintaining the highest standards of performance and ethics within our department.
