The Atlantic Beach Police Communications Center is staffed with four Telecommunicators. There is typically one Telecommunicator working at a time with the exception of the peak summer season. The Communication Center provides immediate access for the citizens and visitors of Atlantic Beach to Police, Fire, Paramedics and a Civil Enforcement Officer.

The Communications Center was responsible for directing over 60,600 phone calls during 2005 and dispatching emergency personnel to over 17,800 incidents during the same period.
