Farmers Market (complemented with live music)

Friday Night Farmers Market coming to the Boardwalk this summer. The folks at The Friendly Market in Morehead City, have agreed to run a market on the Boardwalk at the Circle this summer. Food. Music. Arts & Crafts. It should be a great way to kick off the weekends. Fridays, 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. starting May 28th.

Coral Bay Park

The Town has opened their new park at the Coral Bay Shopping Center, at 915 W Fort Macon Road, across from the Atlantic Station Shopping Center. This park has a large playset and swingset for big and little kids to enjoy. Plans include a basketball goal to be installed soon. If you and your family are looking for a shady place to enjoy a picnic, please visit the well-lighted shaded picnic site beside the playground equipment.

"Circle" Beach Access Facelift

Please visit the Town's main beach access at the "Circle". Staff has been working hard to clean it up for our summertime visitors with a freshly painted, newly designed seawall, three volleyball courts, a soccer court, refreshing paint and look to the on-sand wooden swingset, three lifeguard stands, five sets of buoys marking the lifeguard protected swimming area, and a swingset by the old Pavilion parking lot. This is the site for the weekly outdoor movies and Farmer's Market activities. This is also the location of the Carteret County Parks & Recreation sponsored and coordinated summer annual beach run series, recreational and competitive volleyball tournaments, and soccer tournaments.
