The Town of Atlantic Beach is currently
accepting bids for the removal of Vegetative and C&D (construction and
demolition) debris for the anticipated tropical, winter and Nor’easter
storm seasons through June 30, 2011. Bidders Instructions and Proposal
Forms may be obtained from the Town of Atlantic Beach, 125 West Fort
Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC 28512, or by contacting Town Clerk at
252-726-2121. Sealed bids will be addressed to Town Clerk and marked
“DEBRIS REMOVAL CONTRACT” at Town of Atlantic Beach, PO Box 10, 125 West
Fort Macon Road., Atlantic Beach, NC 28512. Deadline for submittal of
bids is 1:30pm on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at which time the public
bid opening and reading will take place in the Boardroom of the Town
Hall at the same address. Interested parties are recommended to attend
the pre-bid conference at 1:30pm on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 also in
the Boardroom of the Town Hall. A recommendation will be submitted no
later than the next scheduled meeting of the Town Council, following
which the selected bidder will be notified.
The Town of Atlantic Beach reserves the right to reject any or all
project proposals.
