The Atlantic Beach Fire Department is a North Carolina Association of Rescue and
EMS certified Medium Duty Technical Rescue Company. We specialize in Ocean/Surf
Rescue, Surface Water Rescue, Confined Space Rescue, Rope Rescue, High Angle
Rescue, Cell Tower Rescue, and Vehicle and Machinery Rescue and Extrication. We
operate with one Medium Rescue Truck, a Zodiac rescue boat, and a jet-ski with a
surf rescue sled.
