NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Atlantic Beach Town Council will conduct a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting to be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, 6:00 p.m., at the Atlantic Beach Town Hall, 125 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC.  The purpose of the public hearing is to review, discuss and hear public comment, both oral and written, regarding proposed Ordinance 10-03-01; Amendments to Article 5, Zoning Districts; Article 6, Special Requirements and Appendix A of the Town of Atlantic Beach Unified Development Ordinance. The proposed amendment will allow tent campgrounds to be included as a Conditional Use, outlining the requirements for applying for a Conditional Use permit for a tent campground and the addition of a definition of a tent campground. Following the hearing, the Town Council may take action on the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available in the Town Clerk’s office at Atlantic Beach Town Hall, 125 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Atlantic Beach Town Council will conduct a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting to be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, 6:00 p.m., at the Atlantic Beach Town Hall, 125 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC.  The purpose of the public hearing is to review, discuss and hear public comment, both oral and written, regarding proposed Ordinance 10-03-02; Amendments to Article 5, Zoning Districts; Section 5.6 and Article 6, Special Requirements; Section 6.21.4 of the Town of Atlantic Beach Unified Development Ordinance. The proposed amendment will update and correct the square footage requirements in Resort Services (RS) to 2,000 square feet per unit, to correct the height requirements in General Business (GB) to reflect the Causeway Overlay Standards, and to reduce the allowable impervious surface percentage in commercial districts from 85% to 75%. Following the hearing, the Town Council may take action on the proposed ordinance.  NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town of Atlantic Beach Town Council will conduct a Public Hearing during the regularly scheduled Town Council Meeting to be held on Monday, March 15, 2010, 6:00 p.m., at the Atlantic Beach Town Hall, 125 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC.  The purpose of the public hearing is to review, discuss and hear public comment, both oral and written, regarding proposed Ordinance 10-03-03; Amendments to Article 7, Design Standards; Section 7.2 of the Town of Atlantic Beach Unified Development Ordinance. The proposed amendment will update the fence regulations to clarify that a temporary fence permit will be active for ninety (90) days and no fences will be allowed to be erected in a traveled roadway. Following the hearing, the Town Council may take action on the proposed ordinance. A copy of the proposed ordinance is available in the Town Clerk’s office at Atlantic Beach Town Hall, 125 West Fort Macon Road, Atlantic Beach, NC. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. The following applications are jointly reviewed by the Inspections and Fire Marshal's offices:

A Site Plan and Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement shall be completed for facilities storing, utilizing, dispensing or manufacturing hazardous materials or as otherwise required by the Fire Marshal.
